This sketch was done about halfway through the construction stage. It shows the two islands and the promontory. The promontory at the right hand end wasn't created but we have plans to use some left-over topsoil to create a higher section where it's marked.
The Grassy Knoll is an area from which the topsoil wasn't removed in order to provide some variation in depth in the shallows. When water levels have dropped enough for this to appear it has been popular with birds. The actual shape of the islands is rather different as we were limited by the minimum working radius of the large bulldozer used and tight curvaceous islands were not possible.
The scale of the sketch is not accurate.
